Pictures of the devastating fire in Colorado

The Waldo Canyon Fire started June 23 and has scorched 16,750 acres. It has burned 347 homes and killed at least two people.

Father in heaven I place the people of Colorado into your hand; especially those who have been affected by the Waldo Canyon Fire. Many of these people have lost everything they owned. These are difficult times Lord, but I hope someone will find a way to encourage hope. May they find solace in Jesus Christ. Amen!

Prayers from Australia for those affected by the terrible fires.

It brings back memories of fires here when whole towns were wiped out, and the biggest tragedy was that at least some were deliberately lit.

Thank you so much for your prayers. Everybody needs prayers, but the victims of the Waldo Canyon fire need all the prayers they can get. There is not a whole lot anyone can say to comfort those who have lost everything. However, I hope they will find comfort in Jesus Christ. There is a better day coming, when there will be no more suffering.
